I was getting that error message whilst trying to extend my ea access subscription. Later on near 5hrs of calls with ea and microsoft a tech from xbox support confirmed that y'all have to let the ea subscription run downward before adding a new one. This policy was introduced past ea a couple of months ago.

If you become this bulletin end immediately! I got the message trying to renew my gold that expired in a couple weeks and if I purchased now I got information technology off 33%. I received "Something went wrong our end. Try again later." I did so and got the same message. I contacted support they tried to help and attempted to renew information technology them selves and got the same bulletin. The next day my depository financial institution called and Micrsoft had taken almost $320 out of my bank business relationship! Weeks later after telling me a refund would be given within 24-72 hours i am still dealing with Microsoft most getting my money refunded and my xbox live is expiring in a few days...they will tell you they are doing an investigation. There should be no investigation about refunding money to people when the message and employees told you to try again...
